The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) 2026 Annual Meeting brings together oral and maxillofacial surgeons to educate, network, and introduce new technology and ideas that elevate both patient care and practice performance.
The event also provides practice owners and managers an opportunity to step away from daily demands and examine the business of running an OMS practice more closely. From coding and reimbursement to staffing, compliance, and technology, there is plenty to explore during the annual gathering.
Practice Metrix will be there, too! You can find us at booth #717 inside the Seattle Convention Center exhibition hall.

Visit the Practice Metrix Tune Up Station: Make a Practice Pit Stop at Booth #717
You are already placing implants. What if they could also help fuel your practice growth?
If you currently use Nobel Biocare or are considering expanding your commitment, your implant placement may provide access to Practice Metrix programs designed to strengthen the entire practice surrounding the procedure – not just the surgery itself.
Make a Practice Pits Stop at booth #717 to talk with the Practice Metrix team about a “tune-up” for your practice:
- Cannot Find Another Provider? Integrate a Nurse Practitioner. Learn how adding a nurse practitioner can expand your clinical team and help address provider and capacity needs.
- Want Better Referral Relationships? Build a True Implant Treatment Coordinator. Develop an ITC who can help strengthen referral relationships, improve case acceptance, and support your implant program.
- Already Have an Implant Coordinator? Advance Their Skills. Take your ITC from Green Belt foundational training through Brown Belt advanced training and Black Belt digital workflow mastery.
- Ready to Take Your Team from Analog to Digital? Give your team the training and practical skills to implement digital workflows more effectively throughout your practice.
- Want to Improve Your Own Digital Planning Skills? Explore provider-level guided-surgery training designed to advance digital planning and implementation.
- Want to Improve Revenue from the Work You Already Do? Take advantage of a free, no-cost, no-obligation Revenue Cycle Management Review to identify opportunities to strengthen financial performance.
Ask Nobel Biocare. Choose your tune-up. Then make a Practice Pitstop at booth #717 to find out how your implant placement may help fund your next practice enhancement.

Sessions Worth Prioritizing for Owners and Managers
With a packed schedule, trying to attend everything can leave you with little time to dive into the issues most relevant to your practice. Owners and managers should consider customizing schedules around several areas that directly impact your practice operations and financial performance:
- Coding and Reimbursement: Changes in coding, payer requirements, and reimbursement can directly affect your revenue cycle. Look for sessions that can help your team improve coding accuracy, understand medical and dental billing requirements, and address reimbursement challenges.
- Practice Management: AAOMS offers dedicated practice management programming for OMS and professional allied staff. Topics addressing operations, compliance, financial performance, and workflow can provide ideas you can take home to your team.
- Staffing and Team Development: Recruiting, retaining, and managing the right team is critical to running an efficient practice. Sessions focused on team success can be especially useful in addressing staffing gaps, turnover, or changing operational needs.
- Technology and Data: New technology is only valuable when it solves a problem or helps your practice perform better. Prioritize sessions showing how data, reporting, automation, and other tools improve visibility and support better business decisions.
The goal does not necessarily need to be returning home with dozens of new ideas. Identifying even a few practical changes that address your practice’s biggest challenges can make your time at the conference more valuable.
